The open tread pattern is made in an aggressive design, featuring large block sizes and a large angle of inclination of their walls. This solution on unpaved surfaces improves traction and adhesion properties, and on paved roads reduces noise and rolling resistance. In the shoulder areas, the blocks "extend" to the sidewalls, having an alternating concave and convex profile. This additionally increases traction on unstable loose surfaces.
