The Kumho Wintercraft WI32 winter tire is suitable for most popular passenger cars. It is designed for operation in countries located north of the Arctic Circle. It is characterized by stable traction on icy surfaces, efficient braking on any slippery surfaces, and a quiet and smooth ride.
The tread is made of a compound with a high content of "silica" and special polymers that increase its strength against breakage and stretching. This rubber mixture is able to remain elastic at extremely low temperatures and at the same time resistant to abrasive wear, prolonged heating, punctures, and cuts. The tread pattern is designed in a "Scandinavian" design, in which the V-shaped arrangement of grooves allows the rotation of the wheel to be used for water and its mixture with snow. This solution provides a contact patch with long high edges, which ensures that the tire demonstrates excellent traction and directional stability on snow.
Key features of Kumho Wintercraft WI32 (Studless)
- an elastic rubber compound based on "silica" gives the tire grip at extremely low temperatures;
- increased density of lamella arrangement ensures reliable traction on icy surfaces;
- V-shaped arrangement, directional against the direction of drainage grooves, allows the tread to be intensively cleaned of snow and its mixture with road dirt.
