Tire-"slick" for maximum contact patch
Engineers applied a non-standard solution. The model is essentially a full-fledged "slick" with an asymmetrical design and small "hints" of grooves. The inner half of the tread has only two longitudinal grooves. Their depth is a symbolic 3.2 mm. This is not for driving through puddles, but for formal compliance with DOT requirements. Such minimalism has one goal — to increase the contact area with the road to a maximum. The result is an extreme level of mechanical grip, unattainable for ordinary road tires.
Compound
The "heart" of the tire is the ARC Compounding technology — a racing compound with extremely low wear. The idea is to sacrifice durability for maximum grip. When entering a turn on a dry track, the mixture temperature rises to +99-116 C. In this range, the rubber "flows", filling the micro-roughness of the asphalt. This provides the highest resistance to heat cycles, ensuring the stability of the racing vehicle.
Power frame
At high speeds, the tire experiences colossal loads. In this case, a racing radial structure is used: 2 steel breakers, a nylon layer, and an enhanced High Ply Turn-up design. This structure provides minimal deformation in turns, clear feedback, and high directional stability.
Important operating restrictions
The model is not intended for everyday use on public roads. It requires warming up before extreme loads and is not designed for operation at temperatures below zero or on a wet track.
