Kumho CW11

The Kumho CW11 winter tire is used in commercial vehicles with small load capacities. It is designed for operation in areas with extremely unfavorable climatic conditions. It is characterized by high reliability and a long service life, excellent traction properties on any winter roads for its category.

The tread part of the tire has an optimized profile, which significantly increases the contact patch width. In addition to improving traction properties, this solution reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tire. Its carcass has a reinforced design, which not only increases the load capacity but also minimizes the risk of mechanical damage.

The design of the tread pattern largely determines the effectiveness of the tire on winter roads. In particular, it contains several thousand lamellas with a "three-dimensional" profile of the vertical walls. This significantly improves the traction properties on compacted snow and ice. Part of the drainage grooves is located at an angle of 40 to 45 degrees, optimal from the point of view of braking efficiency. The shoulder blocks of rectangular shape are turned crosswise and are located relative to each other with a different pitch. This improves traction during maneuvering, reduces the length of the braking distance, and reduces the risk of resonance noise and vibrations.
