Description Kleber Krisalp HP
The passenger tire Kleber Krisalp HP is a winter tire only in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, for which it was specifically created. In such climatic conditions, it demonstrates its strongest sides. These include excellent grip at high speed, low noise level, and reliable behavior on snow.
Directional tread pattern with a rigid central rib
A significant part of the above-mentioned advantages of this tire is due to the design of the tread pattern. Like most modern models "oriented" towards slippery surfaces, it features a V-shaped arrangement of tread elements with a continuous longitudinal rib in the central part. The main advantage of this pattern is increased directional stability, fast and precise response to steering wheel turns, which together create a sense of ease in handling the vehicle, especially when driving at high speeds and maneuvering.
Increased number of gripping edges
Another feature of the Kleber Krisalp HP tire is the large number of gripping edges. Their number was increased due to the reduction in size of the tread blocks and the lamellas cut into them. Moreover, the latter are mostly wavy in shape. This significantly limits the mobility of the blocks, which in turn has a positive effect on handling.
High resistance to aquaplaning
The tread of this model features numerous drainage grooves. The most capacious of these are the four longitudinal grooves, which provide high resistance to the aquaplaning effect. The efficiency of the drainage system has been further increased due to the arrangement of numerous grooves against the direction of movement in the shoulder areas of the tread.
Main features of the Kleber Krisalp HP tire
- excellent operating properties in conditions of mild "European" winter;
- expanded functionality of the central longitudinal rib, which due to its rigid double structure improves directional stability and handling, and thanks to numerous transverse lamellas - longitudinal traction properties;
- increased width of the shoulder tread blocks, combined with their transverse arrangement and rectangular shape, improves maneuverability and braking efficiency.
