Summer tire Kirov K-135 from a domestic manufacturer is designed for operation by passenger cars in dry weather on asphalt or dirt roads. The "passenger" positioning does not deprive the tire of the opportunity to be used on minibuses, it has proven itself well in work with Russian "Gazelles".
Even load distribution and rolling resistance
The tread pattern is formed from medium-sized polygonal blocks, symmetrically arranged but differently directed. Such geometry provides an even and smooth distribution of load, which increases the carrying capacity of the vehicle. The contact patch, due to the "medium-format" blocks of the tread, increases, which leads to an increase in directional stability. The sufficiently smooth tread surface increases the speed characteristics of the vehicle, and the side blocks act as dirt grips, multiplying the gripping properties and leading to effective braking.
The network of longitudinal and transverse channels allows to effectively counteract aquaplaning - the water entering the contact patch is quickly removed. However, the drainage system works well on a wet but clean road. The channels lack a bit of depth to quickly remove liquid mud, which clogs the grooves and reduces the above-mentioned effect.
Safe operation and increased resource
The addition of certain additives to the polymer mixture increased the wear resistance of the rubber and extended its service life. This detail plays a key role in the possibility of using the tire not only in passenger cars but also in small-tonnage trucks.
The tire sidewall is reinforced, which increases the tread's resistance to dynamic loads that occur, for example, when the wheels hit potholes.
