Description Kenex CP661
The Kenex CP661 summer tire suits most passenger cars. Operational properties are selected taking into account road conditions in the city. In motion, it is characterized by stability of coupling properties and efficiency when braking on a wet surface, acoustic comfort, and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern has a "non-directional" design with a large useful area. Along with the optimization of the tire's tread profile, this increases the contact patch and allows for even distribution of pressure on the road surface. As a result, the grip not only strengthens but also becomes more stable, especially when maneuvering. At the same time, the tread wear occurs much slower. Efficiency on a wet surface is achieved due to the edges formed by lamellas and blocks, as well as due to the increased volume of water-draining grooves in the central part.
Main features:
- increased contact patch and optimized tread profile improve traction on dry pavement and reduce wear;
- sharp edges of blocks and lamellas improve traction and braking efficiency on a wet surface;
- increased water-draining grooves in the central part, a multitude of curved drainage elements in the shoulder areas reduce the risk of aquaplaning.
