Description Kenda K533 Klaw
The Kenda K533 tire is noticeably different from most other models for quad bikes offered by this well-known Asian manufacturer. First of all, it has a fairly narrow scope of application. This model is designed for installation on the rear axle of sports quad bikes, which is reflected in a number of design features, which will be discussed below. In addition, it is impossible not to note the presence of two versions of this tire. The version with the MX abbreviation in the name is better suited for soft and intermediate soil surfaces, and the Klaw XC for hard soils with a low moisture content. The specific features of these types of coatings have been reflected in some design features. Klaw MX is equipped with a 4-layer carcass, and XC with a reinforced 6-layer one.
Sporty design of the tread pattern
This model is equipped with a fairly typical tread pattern for sports tires. It is characterized by a distinctive V-shaped design, containing many separate blocks of small height. This solution is dictated by the developers' desire to give the tire maximum stability at high speed, sacrificing a significant part of the traction properties for this. Nevertheless, they remain at a fairly high level, thanks to the large number of blocks and the scheme of their arrangement. During movement, these tread elements form many transverse ribs that stretch across the entire tread. This feature gives the tire significant longitudinal traction properties, which, given its functional purpose, provides it with excellent efficiency.
Combination of low weight and high reliability
As mentioned earlier, this model is equipped with a carcass with a different number of layers (6 layers for MX and 4 layers for XC). In both cases, a nylon cord is used, which combines low weight, strength, and elasticity. This feature is ensured by the physical properties of the applied synthetic material, as well as the technology of seamless winding. With its help, it was possible not only to get rid of seams and joints but also to ensure a more dense arrangement of nylon fibers. This made it possible to improve, and significantly, several operational properties of the tire. First of all, this is resistance to dynamic deformation, aggressive external influences, as well as improved manageability, reliability, and service life.
Key features of Kenda K533 Klaw
