Description Кама 505 (Нешип)
The Kama 505 winter tire is characterized by an excellent price-quality ratio, thanks to Russian production and the use of modern technologies and materials. The model differs in balanced operational properties, combining excellent traction on slippery roads, reliability, and a long service life.
Short braking distance
The tire is characterized by high efficiency when braking. This property is provided by the design of the shoulder zones, which contain wide blocks. Their transverse edges have a complex stepped shape, forming additional faces that increase the efficiency of the tread when braking. This property is enhanced by numerous Z-shaped lamellas cut in the shoulder blocks.
Resistance to skidding
The tire tread is equipped with numerous lamellas. Narrow slits are located in different directions and at a distance of several millimeters from each other. During movement, they form thousands of sharp edges, with which the tire literally bites into the slippery surface from snow, water, and ice.
High resistance to slushplaning
A distinctive feature of the tread's drainage system is the large size and location of the grooves. These elements, due to their volume and direction at an angle and against movement, easily cope with cleaning the contact patch from snow slush and water, which ensures confident behavior in the most difficult road conditions.
Excellent passability in deep snow
The tire differs in excellent passability in snow. They are achieved by several features at once. First of all, it is the V-shaped arrangement of the tread elements, which form very long transverse traction edges when moving. At the same time, the zigzag-shaped longitudinal rib in the center performs the role of an anti-snow wedge, and the shoulder blocks - grouser.
Main features of Kama 505 (Studded)
- high efficiency when braking is provided by long transverse edges of shoulder blocks and lamellas cut in them;
- resistance to skidding is achieved by the multidirectional arrangement and numerousness of lamellas;
- high resistance to slushplaning due to the large volume and location of drainage grooves;
- passability in deep snow is ensured by the "anti-snow wedge" in the form of a longitudinal rib in the center and the massiveness, height of the shoulder blocks, performing the role of grouser.
