Кама 235

The Kama 235 tire is produced in only two sizes: 215/70 R15 and 215/70 R16. Tires in these sizes are designed exclusively for foreign crossovers. The 15-inch tires will fit the Korean Santa Fe and the Japanese Isk-Trail, while the 16-inch tires will fit the RAV 4 and the American Ford Maverick.

Both tires allow the use of vehicle tire chambers not exceeding 2kg.

The tire has an unusual external design of the tread. The design of the Nizhnekamsk Kama 235 is notable for the presence of two longitudinal grooves on the central part of the tread and zig-zag drainage channels that allow effective handling of water emerging from under the contact patch, thereby reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The composition of the rubber mixture was changed in this tire, which led to a noticeable improvement in the handling and braking of the 235 model.

The tire is considered all-season, but it is recommended to use it exclusively in positive temperatures.
