All-season tire Kama 222 is designed for SUVs that operate in various conditions (both urban and off-road). When developing this model, the company's specialists tried to use the best qualities of summer and winter tires. The resulting result fully justified all expectations. The tire has excellent driving qualities in any weather conditions (rain, ice, snow, etc.). This was achieved through the use of a new rubber compound and a directional tread pattern.
Branching tread design
The tread pattern with a large number of various channels provided excellent driving qualities in any weather conditions. The Kama 222 channels have a directional shape, starting in the shoulder area and intersecting in the central part of the tread. Due to this, water, mud, and snow are quickly removed from its entire surface. Additionally, there are four deep channels that provide excellent stability when driving in off-road conditions.
The blocks have sharp ground-gripping edges "biting" into any soil, increasing stability and handling. A special system of small lamellas increases the coupling characteristics with a wet surface, preventing possible aquaplaning. Due to this, the noise during movement is reduced, and the comfort of the ride is increased.
Reinforced carcass
When operating the tire in difficult conditions, it is subjected to increased loads. As a result, damage and tears of the tread appear. To prevent these negative consequences, a reinforced carcass is used in this model. When creating it, a new cord winding technology and materials of increased strength were applied. As a result, the tire has a minimal percentage of damage, even when driving in difficult off-road conditions. The new carcass design made it possible to achieve an even distribution of pressure inside the tire, which prevented uneven wear and increased the tire's mileage.
