The tire was developed taking into account the features of modern commercial vehicles on asphalt roads. This is due to the high speed indices for this category. Compliance with these requirements is achieved through the design of the tread pattern. In its central part, there is a wide solid longitudinal rib with high resistance to deformation. This provides excellent directional stability at high speeds, quickness, and accuracy of the tire's reactions to the driver's actions. This solution reduces rolling resistance and, consequently, fuel consumption.
S-shaped lamellas
In the central part, there are also narrow S-shaped grooves. It gives the tread elements multifunctionality. With their help, the grip on a wet road and resistance to aquaplaning are increased. The grooves optimize the distribution of external load on the contact patch. On the one hand, this makes the handling reliable and predictable, and on the other hand, it increases the durability of the tread.
