In particular, silicon-containing components were included in the rubber compound, which made the tread more elastic even at low temperatures, allowing it to better adapt to irregularities. Another factor that ensured the tire's excellent behavior on wet roads is the drainage system. It consists of four longitudinal grooves that act as a kind of water accumulator, which then leaves the contact patch through numerous transverse channels.
