The Jinyu Yu61 summer tire is one of the latest developments from the Chinese manufacturer. Additionally, this model is positioned by them as an Ultra High Performance tire, which speaks to its exceptional technical characteristics. The size range includes several dozen sizes for wheels with a mounting diameter of 16 and 17 inches.

Excellent Handling

This model is equipped with a very aggressive tread pattern with an asymmetrical arrangement of elements. This allowed the tire to have excellent characteristics in various driving modes.

On a straight road, the outer side of the tread "works", consisting of three longitudinal ribs. At the same time, each of them performs a certain function. The central rib of the Jinyu YU61 tire has a solid structure, which makes it highly resistant to dynamic deformations. In practice, this feature has significantly improved directional stability, especially at high speeds. Additionally, the rigid rib in the center of the tread has reduced the tire's response time to steering movements.

The other two ribs consist of two rows of massive blocks that form numerous edges. Due to this structure of the outer side of the tread pattern, the tire demonstrates excellent traction, especially on wet roads.

The inner side of the tread pattern consists of two very wide ribs, divided into numerous massive blocks. The reinforced design of this part of the tread has significantly increased the tire's stability when making sharp maneuvers and turning.

Excellent Traction on Wet Roads

One of the distinctive features of this model is its excellent traction on wet roads. This was achieved thanks to a number of technological solutions. In particular, silicon-containing components were included in the rubber compound, which made the tread more elastic even at low temperatures, allowing it to better adapt to irregularities. Another factor that ensured the tire's excellent behavior on wet roads is the drainage system. It consists of four longitudinal grooves that act as a kind of water accumulator, which then leaves the contact patch through numerous transverse channels.
