Ikon Nordman SX3

Ikon Nordman SX3 – summer tire, the scope of which includes passenger cars. It is distinguished by its resistance to hydroplaning, low noise effect and excellent handling at high speed.

The tread is made non-directional with asymmetry. The center is occupied by three ribs, which are equipped with diagonal grooves. The task of the latter is to collect moisture and divert it into the central channels. At the same time, the cleanliness of the contact area and the reliability of the traction properties are maintained. The ribbed structures themselves support the responsiveness of the steering, providing good maneuverability. An important feature of the tire is the special recesses on the walls of the channels, which have a semi-spherical shape. They perform two functions at once. Firstly, they reduce the heating of the tire during intense driving. Secondly, they neutralize the effect of air turbulence, reducing the level of driving noise.
