Summer tire Ikon Autograph Ultra 2 for high-speed passenger cars. The model stands out for its resistance to deformation, efficient protection against overheating, as well as a high level of handling at speed. The combination of these characteristics was achieved through the use of Finnish Nokian technologies in combination with high-quality raw materials.

The tread contains wide rib structures with lateral notches, which make handling maximally responsive. The sharp edges of the blocks firmly fix the tire on the road surface, making braking the most effective. A series of grooves and central channels performs several functions at once. Firstly, water drainage and protection against hydroplaning. Secondly, heat dissipation that occurs during intense driving. This factor neutralizes the action of high temperatures, maintaining the dense structure of the compound. As a result, even during prolonged driving, the tread retains its working characteristics at the same level.

Water channel grooves

Deep grooves in the centre circumferential ribs have been computer-optimised to efficiently collect and channel water into the broad centre grooves. The open groove design accelerates water evacuation, working in conjunction with the polished surface of the centre grooves to more efficiently evacuate water from the tyre contact patch.

Silent Groove

Silent Groove Design is an innovative solution by Nokian Tyres' engineers. The design of the longitudinal groove side walls increases driving comfort. The key feature lies in the semi-circular recesses affecting the flow of air within the tire. The recesses on the surface of the longitudinal grooves of the tread create fewer air whirls, preventing the occurrence of an unpleasant noise. This lowers the noise level both inside and outside the vehicle cabin, making driving comfortable.
