Description Hilo Sport XV1
The Hilo Sport XV1 summer tire is designed for a wide range of vehicles, characterized by high performance on dry and wet asphalt, effective grip properties, and low rolling resistance.
The model's compound contains silica-based compounds that help maintain the elasticity of the rubber at various temperature regimes. This positively affects the quality of grip, making handling as predictable as possible. The tread is executed in a symmetrical style. Its central zone is occupied by three medium-sized ribs, which have unidirectional grooves and notches on their surface. The latter form additional gripping edges, improving grip and reducing braking distance. Opening into longitudinal grooves, the grooves actively participate in water and mud evacuation, maintaining the cleanliness of the contact area. As a result, the tire is able to maintain stable driving characteristics in any weather. The sidewalls reinforced with higher-density rubber neutralize the deformation effects that occur during maneuvering. Thus, the stability of the vehicle is maintained.
Key features of Hilo Sport XV1
- resistance to hydroplaning due to the drainage system, represented by wide radial grooves and unidirectional grooves;
- reinforced sidewalls make maneuvering as safe as possible;
- preservation of the working characteristics of the compound due to the presence of silica-based additives in its composition;
- handling sensitivity due to the pronounced ribbed structure of the central area of the tread.
