Hilo Green Plus – a summer tire for a wide range of passenger cars, used both in the city and on highways. The model is distinguished by a short braking distance, high wear resistance, acoustic comfort, and precision handling at speed.
The basis of the tread is an asymmetric pattern, which was developed using modern modeling methods. Two ribs in the central zone with a multitude of notches provide good traction, increasing directional stability and handling at speed. The wide "shoulder" zones stabilize the vehicle during maneuvers, also positively affecting braking efficiency. According to tests, the tire's braking distance on dry asphalt is 6 percent less than that of analogs. To prevent aquaplaning, four radial channels and a whole network of diagonal grooves are provided. Their joint work guarantees rapid water removal and maintaining contact efficiency with the road surface.
The tire is built on a steel frame, which is supplemented by several layers of synthetic materials. This has achieved an optimal level of ride comfort.
