Since the main target audience of this model are owners of SUVs and crossovers, the company's specialists tried to give it maximum universality of application, just like vehicles with increased off-road capability. The result of these efforts was the S-shaped tread pattern of the Headway HR801 with an original 5-step arrangement of numerous blocks. At the same time, all of them are grouped into five longitudinal ribs, three of which are located in the central part of the tread. This structure of the tread pattern gave the tire a whole range of abilities, which ultimately made it possible to use it all year round, both on roads with a solid surface and without them.

Outside the roads with a solid surface, numerous tread blocks of a rectangular shape come into play. At the same time, their edges in the central part of the tread are located at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement, which made it possible to significantly improve the efficiency of traction, especially on slippery and loose surfaces. In turn, the tread blocks located in the shoulder areas are arranged perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the wheel and, at the same time, differ in increased size and height. On slippery surfaces, such blocks provide more effective braking, and on loose soils, they work like mud grips on special off-road tires.
