Description Headway HR607
The commercial tire Headway HR607 is designed for small-capacity trucks. It stands out favorably from most analogs of other brands with its coupling properties, course stability on slippery surfaces, reliability, and high mileage in the most difficult operating conditions.
The tread pattern features a symmetrical non-directional design with enlarged blocks. The most massive elements are located in the shoulder areas. In addition to their size, they are distinguished by the presence of a rigid connection to each other through wide ties. Such a structure is extremely resistant to deformation. As a result, in addition to stability against lateral skidding during maneuvering, a greater uniformity of weight distribution of the vehicle is achieved in the area constantly in contact with the road surface. This reduces the intensity of wear and increases the carrying capacity of the tire.
Each block has narrow slits. They perform several functions. First of all, it is the formation of additional edges, with which the tire effectively grips the wet road surface when accelerating and braking. In addition, these slits, giving the blocks additional elasticity, significantly reduce the level of abrasive impact on the tread, thereby increasing its mileage.
Main features:
- shoulder blocks with rigid ties between them improve stability during maneuvering, reduce wear;
- blocks in the central part, arranged in a "chess" order, improve longitudinal coupling, reduce noise level;
- wavy lamellas reduce the braking distance, increase the traction force on a wet surface.
