Hankook H418 optimo – an all-season tire installed on a wide range of vehicles: crossovers, sedans, and small SUVs. It is capable of efficiently withstanding speed modes while maintaining its operational qualities. The model is characterized by a short braking distance and excellent maneuverability.
The central part of the tire features a wide rib divided into separate blocks. On the one hand, this design solution allowed for a significant increase in directional stability, and on the other hand, it improved traction and water drainage. The numerous biting edges and transverse channels connected to longitudinal drains are responsible for the latter.
To increase the mileage, special additives were used in the compound, which increased resistance to abrasive wear. Thanks to this, even with intense summer operation on asphalt roads, the tire retains its properties for several seasons.
