Hankook H720 Centum

The all-season passenger tire Hankook Centum H720, produced by the world-renowned South Korean tire conglomerate, is designed for year-round operation on compact passenger cars.

The external appearance of the directional tread pattern of the tire features a V-shaped design. The tread structure of the tire uses simple and proven solutions. The tread pattern of the tire consists of two rows of separate blocks located in the central part of the tread, and two wide shoulder zones with a rounded profile, divided into separate blocks by lateral grooves.

All the constructive elements of the tread are divided by three grooves located along the entire tread, and a multitude of transverse grooves. The large distance between the constructive elements provided the tire tread with excellent self-cleaning indicators. Water, snow, and dirt are easily and quickly removed from the tire's contact patch, thereby improving the tire's traction and coupling characteristics on surfaces with a low coefficient of friction.

The sharp edges of the two rows of separate trapezoidal blocks located in the center of the tread pattern of the Hankook H720 Centum tire create a multitude of engagement edges, which significantly improve the passability on snowy roads and simply add confidence when driving on snow and dirt.

The reinforced design of the shoulder zones of the tread effectively prevents the occurrence of skidding, improves the stability of the coupling characteristics when turning. Due to the rounded profile, the likelihood of uneven wear is reduced, which seriously shortens the life of the tire.

To improve coupling with various slippery coatings, the entire tread pattern of the tire is literally filled with a multitude of transverse lamellas of a zigzag shape, creating additional engagement edges without compromising the rigidity of the tread elements.
