Tyres Guangda

- Origins: Китай
The Guangda trademark belongs to the Chinese company Xingyuan, which is one of the 100 largest industrial enterprises in China. The company was founded in 1994 and is located in the "tire" production cluster in Shandong Province. It has a staff of 2,000 people, 680 of whom are engineers and technical workers of its own research center.
This brand "specializes" exclusively in tires for commercial vehicles of large capacity. The range of tires is counted in dozens and is distributed across the following categories:
- for long-haul transportation;
- for regional transportation;
- for mixed conditions;
The most numerous is the segment of tires for long-haul transportation. It is represented by both universal tires for any axle and special models that are recommended for use on a specific axle of trucks. A common feature of such tires is tread patterns with a dense arrangement of elements and the use of massive longitudinal ribs. Some exception to this rule are tires for driving axles. Part of such models is designed for slippery winter roads, differing in a tread part with numerous small blocks and lamellas. Another feature of the "long-haul" line is the widespread use of all-steel carcasses, which increase the tire's carrying capacity, fuel efficiency, and service life.
The "regional" line consists of universal tires for any axle. They are distinguished by reinforced carcasses and the use of rubber compounds that are more resistant to various mechanical stresses. In addition, many models have a significantly increased depth of tread pattern notching, this parameter varies from 14 to 20 mm. This significantly reduces the risk of puncture damage to the tire and increases its mileage.
Tires for mixed operating conditions are designed mainly for special equipment - dump trucks, concrete mixers, garbage trucks. They are effective primarily on dirt surfaces. To do this, special tread patterns are used. As a rule, with open shoulder zones, which improve traction and adhesion properties on loose unstable surfaces. In addition, the sidewalls are significantly strengthened, their thickness is increased, and a multi-layer all-steel cord is integrated into their structure.
