A large number of slits
The tread design is characterized by the density of the arrangement of lamellas. The slits cut into the blocks are located at a slight angle to the direction of movement. This feature has a positive effect on the efficiency of the tread when accelerating and braking, primarily on a water-covered road surface. It is worth noting the zigzag shape of the slits. It limits the mobility of the blocks in the transverse direction, which enhances stability when maneuvering, and also optimizes the distribution of external load on the tire's contact area with the road. This significantly reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread, reducing its wear rate.
Closed design of the shoulder areas
A significant part of the tread area is allocated to the shoulder areas. These are two longitudinal rows of massive blocks rigidly connected to each other by special bridges. This gives the entire shoulder area high resistance to deformation, which has a positive effect on traction, both when maneuvering and during longitudinal accelerations.
