The new GT Radial mud tire is introduced
Indonesian company PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk presented at the GIIAS auto show in Jakarta a new tire, GT Radial Savero M/T Pro, specifically designed for use in the most severe off-road conditions and created to make "adventure seekers feel comfortable while exploring uncharted trails".
The manufacturer claims that the novelty "combines the best characteristics of its legendary predecessors - GT Radial Komodo M/T Plus and Savero M/T - and provides excellent traction, as well as increased durability and an aggressive design".

The Savero M/T Pro features a special "mud" tread pattern designed to increase traction on off-road terrain and accelerate self-cleaning of the tires, which, along with the presence of special stone ejectors in the grooves, ensures a stable level of traction on any type of surface. Additionally, the sidewalls have a reinforced structure, which, in combination with additional blocks in the shape of shark fins, reduces the risk of damage, while the stepped shoulder block walls increase traction in difficult conditions and, as noted, reduce noise and improve ride comfort. The carcass design has also been modified to increase the strength and reliability of the tires.
PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk was founded in 1971 and now supplies tires to more than 100 countries worldwide. The largest shareholder with a 49.7% stake is the Singaporean company Giti.
