The GT Radial Maxmiler WT2 winter tire is a novelty from the Taiwanese manufacturer, designed for installation on all axes of SUVs and crossovers. The model has proven itself well, both on paved roads and in off-road conditions, providing stability of the vehicle's behavior even on ice.
Multifunctional tread pattern
In the process of designing the tread, a computer modeling method was used, which made it possible to create an optimal ratio of blocks and lamellas. Thanks to this, the tire copes perfectly with both increased moisture and snow. Its feature is special side blocks that scoop up snow, providing better traction. Thus, the vehicle can overcome even deep snow.
Additionally, the tire is equipped with a system of lamellas that effectively cope with any amount of water mass on the road, thereby eliminating the effect of aquaplaning.
Special compound
To ensure elasticity at low temperatures, the rubber mixture contains a certain percentage of Indonesian rubber. Thanks to this, the grip properties are significantly improved, including on unpaved roads.
In addition, the compound contains silicon and sulfur, which has a positive effect on the tire's durability. As a result, the service life is increased and the protection against punctures and sidewall cuts is improved.
