The Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse HT summer tire is designed for long-term use primarily on asphalt roads. It is characterized by increased traction on wet surfaces, ease of handling, and directional stability during maneuvering, reduced fuel consumption, and acoustic comfort.
The tire tread is made of a compound that uses soybean oil. This component increases the elasticity of the tire, maintaining it at low temperatures, which enhances traction on wet surfaces and also provides greater resistance to abrasive wear. The tread pattern has a classic 5-rib design for "highway" tires. But the presence of a large number of blocks in it allows the tire to remain effective, including on dirt roads. The presence of numerous multidirectional grooves between the elements increases the traction properties on wet surfaces.
Key Features of Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse HT
- rubber compound with soybean oil in the composition maintains elasticity at low temperatures, gives the tire additional resistance to abrasive wear;
- dense arrangement of tread elements, their distribution along the longitudinal ribs, optimized profile of the tread part improves traction and handling, reduces wear and rolling resistance;
- increased number of grooves and lamellas gives the tire high efficiency on wet surfaces
