Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT/S – a special tire for SUVs, which operate both in urban conditions and on rough terrain. This was made possible by the application of a "semi-off-road" tread of a new generation, developed using advanced modeling methods.
The central part of the tread is occupied by three annular ribs with a wavy structure, each bearing a large number of grooves that form numerous gripping edges. These edges allow for confident passage of off-road sections while maintaining an increased level of traction. The closed-type shoulder areas increase the contact patch, providing better grip, including on wet asphalt.
Among the features, a special compound can be highlighted, which is characterized by its versatility. It maintains contact equally well with both asphalt and dirt surfaces. Additionally, it is also characterized by its elasticity, which has achieved an increased level of driving comfort. This, combined with the special arrangement of block structures that prevents the formation of air vortices, reduces tire noise.
Reinforced sidewalls made of a special compound perfectly maintain the shape of the model even under intense loads. This has a positive effect on the preservation of working characteristics, including on rough terrain.
