The tire features the QuietTred technology, designed to reduce the level of noise and vibration while driving. It includes several solutions. One of them is the closed design of the shoulder areas and the special shape of the drainage grooves located in them. In addition, the breaker construction contains several additional cords - dampers that prevent the transmission of low-frequency vibrations from the carcass components. The tread area is made of a rubber compound with a high content of silica dioxide and special polymers. This compound, with its increased strength, resistance to abrasive wear, and tear resistance, gives the tire excellent grip even on wet surfaces and durability even on poor roads.
