The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance C+ summer tire differs from other models of the North American brand in several ways. Its operational properties are designed to provide maximum efficiency on wet roads. Under such conditions, the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties and high braking intensity. At the same time, it was possible to preserve the "signature" feature of the EfficientGrip line, namely reduced rolling resistance and, as a consequence, pronounced fuel efficiency and long service life.
The tire features the FuelSaving technology, which is a comprehensive set of technical solutions that have affected almost all components of the tire. In particular, a special cord winding is used, which allows significantly reducing the heating of the carcass during prolonged high-speed driving. Additionally, the rubber compound has increased thermal conductivity, which further reduces rolling resistance.
On the move, the tire is favorably distinguished by improved traction properties during intense deceleration. This is largely due to the use of the ActiveBreaking technology.
