The all-season tire Goodyear Eagle Vector EV-2 is installed on most passenger cars. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to slash-planning, directional stability and pronounced fuel-saving properties.
The tread pattern is developed using V-Tread technology. This made it possible to significantly improve longitudinal traction and directional stability on slippery surfaces. The increased width of the drainage grooves provides exceptional resistance not only to aquaplaning but also to slash-planning. A large number of wavy lamellas in the central part allows the tire to remain effective on surfaces with a very low coefficient of friction. The dual solid rib located here increases directional stability on straight sections and steering precision when maneuvering.
Key features:
- V-shaped arrangement of transverse edges allows for intense acceleration and deceleration on a slippery surface while maintaining directional stability and low rolling resistance;
- curved edges of the shoulder blocks increase the traction force on snow;
- wavy lamellas in the central part prevent longitudinal slipping on rolled snow and wet surfaces.
