The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 summer tire is specifically designed for powerful passenger cars. It is characterized by improved traction on dry pavement, braking efficiency on wet pavement, fuel efficiency, and high mileage.
The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetric design with numerous blocks. Due to the high density of element arrangement, the contact patch increases, which has a positive effect on traction on dry pavement. The narrow slits that separate the blocks form a multitude of long transverse edges, which reduce the braking distance on wet pavement. In such conditions, the effectiveness of the tread is also ensured by the large volume of drainage grooves, which prevent the formation of a continuous water film between the tire and the road surface.
