Goodride Rp18 – a tire for all-season use in areas with "European-type" winters. It is characterized by high resistance to aquaplaning, reliable traction and grip properties, and stable handling on both dry and wet asphalt.
The model was developed using modern computer simulation methods, which allowed optimizing its performance characteristics, taking them to a new level. In particular, the solid rib with central part and lateral notches provides high precision handling, and this applies to various speed modes. The unidirectional blocks in the middle zone significantly improve the efficiency of grip properties on wet road surfaces, improving vehicle control. Their numerous sharp edges firmly fix the contact patch even on icy roads, optimizing the safety level.
Four central ring-shaped channels in combination with a network of grooves provide drainage of the contact area, contributing to the preservation of grip properties. They also actively participate in the removal of liquid mud and slush, reducing the risk of slaloming to a minimum.
The special arrangement of tread elements, which does not create air turbulence, has improved acoustic comfort.
