Gislaved Ultracontrol

The Gislaved Ultracontrol summer tire is designed for operation with extremely high loads. It is a model of the Ultra High Performance category, distinguished by its sporty, refined handling and stability when maneuvering, course stability at any speed, and effective braking on both dry and wet surfaces.

The tread pattern is asymmetric and consists of massive rigid elements. This design and the tread profile with variable curvature not only increase the contact patch but also ensure even pressure distribution across it, improving traction properties and their stability, making it easier to control the trajectory when driving at high speeds. Another distinctive feature is the large number of lamellas and their arrangement, where the edges formed by them are a continuation of each other. This significantly increases the intensity of acceleration and deceleration on wet surfaces. A significant part of the tread is occupied by the shoulder zones. The massive blocks located in them provide precise handling and clear feedback on the steering wheel, making it much easier to control the vehicle when maneuvering.
