Most of its elements are located in the central part of the tread, representing a multitude of very long grooves intersecting each other, located against the direction of movement. In combination with the curved shape and increasing width towards the shoulder areas, this greatly increases their throughput, allowing the tread to almost instantly divert from the contact patch almost any amount of water.

Another distinctive feature of the tread design of this tire is the very large size of the contact patch. It was possible to increase it thanks to several technical solutions. First of all, this is the practically flat tread profile and the significant size of almost all tread elements. There are no fewer similar solutions inside the tire. We are talking about the carcass, which received an additional breaker layer made of synthetic cord. Thanks to it, it was possible not only to increase the size of the contact patch but also to give its geometric parameters stability, despite the continuous influence of centrifugal acceleration forces.
