Gislaved Speed 506 – an all-season model, the scope of which includes many passenger cars, including modern compact crossovers. The tire is equipped with a universal tread, which demonstrates its effectiveness both on dry asphalt and in winter road conditions. Such universality was achieved through the introduction of the latest developments and high-quality raw materials.

The tread has a sufficiently original directional structure with pronounced symmetry. In its central part, there is a wide channel formed by two solid ribs. Due to them, it was possible to increase the responsiveness of the steering at various speed modes. In addition, the channel is part of the drainage system, which neutralizes not only aquaplaning but also slaloming, increasing the overall level of safety.

The structure of the directional blocks provides improved traction indicators, which are directly reflected in the optimization of the braking distance and acceleration characteristics. This makes the behavior of the car maximally predictable even in complex winter conditions.

As a compound, the German manufacturer used a special composition that contains both artificial and natural components. Their joint action had a positive effect on maintaining operational characteristics in a wide temperature range.
