The Gislaved Com speed tire is a summer, passenger car model. During the production of this tire, the company's specialists focused primarily on handling and safety. To achieve this, they had to use not only the latest equipment and advanced technologies but also a new rubber compound and create a unique tread pattern.
The tread, created as a result of computer modeling, with double blocks and interconnected elements, allowed for improved handling. A sufficiently flat profile with an even contact surface increased the resource, which in turn reduced operating costs. Also, the sound effect during movement was reduced, making drivers feel more comfortable when driving long distances.
Special additives in the rubber compound increased traction and wear resistance. The softer rubber used in the production of the tread also increased the contact patch and gave the tire stability and more even tread wear. Three longitudinal wide grooves and a large number of lamellas allow for quick removal of water from the contact patch. The use of a carcass and nylon cord in the production increased the strength of the Gislaved Com Speed tire, improved its ability to withstand various loads that occur during movement. The tire meets all quality standards, so there is no need to doubt its quality.
Main features of Gislaved Com Speed
- optimal block and tread stiffness increased the reliability of the tire, making the movement safer;
- increased contact area allowed for more even wear and increased stability;
- specially arranged checkerboard-patterned grooves in the shoulder area reduce the sound effect, making the ride more comfortable;
- a unique rubber compound improved traction characteristics, especially on wet road surfaces, and increased the service life (due to its high wear resistance).
