The Fulda EcoControl SUV summer tire is designed for owners of heavy SUVs with a shifted center of gravity. Thanks to the reinforced carcass, the model is able to withstand increased loads, including those that occur when driving off-road. It is characterized by resistance to lateral skidding on wet asphalt, as well as a short braking distance.
Released in 2020, the tire is based on a compound with improved wear resistance. The rubber composition, combined with the optimized arrangement of tread elements, also reduces air resistance. This has had a positive impact on fuel efficiency, increasing the model's environmental friendliness.
The tread features a classic five-rib pattern with wide "shoulders". The latter have a stabilizing effect when maneuvering, as well as reducing the braking distance and improving traction on dirt. The central ribs are distinguished by their density. Due to this, it was possible to achieve responsive handling, including at high speeds.
