Winter tire Firestone Destination Winter is installed on SUV class vehicles. It is oriented for use in "European" winter conditions. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on wet and snow-covered roads with a small amount of snow.

The tread pattern is designed with a directional design and a symmetrical arrangement of elements. In the central part, the blocks are reduced in size and have a complex geometric shape, which lengthens the extent of the transverse edges formed by them. This increases the traction force and braking efficiency. The arrangement of central blocks in pairs and in a checkerboard pattern increases the contact patch and ensures uniform pressure distribution throughout its area. The shoulder blocks are increased in size and turned across. This increases stability during maneuvering and steering accuracy. Efficiency on coverage with a very low coefficient of friction is provided by sinusoidal lamellas with blockers.
