Falken Ziex ZE-322

The primary target audience for the Falken Ziex ZE-322 summer passenger tire are owners of small and medium-sized passenger cars who prefer a sporty driving style but are not willing to sacrifice comfort for it. A distinctive feature of this model is the combination of sporty handling and a high level of comfort. The size range includes several dozen tire sizes with diameters from 14 to 16 inches. Judging by the fairly high speed indices V and H assigned to this tire, in addition to handling and comfort, it is also capable of providing a high level of safety.

Original Tread Pattern

This tire is the owner of perhaps the most original variation of the S-shaped symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. When developing it, the main goal was to ensure the ideal balance of all the main characteristics of the tire.

This tread pattern consists of five main functional zones, each of which is designed to solve a strictly defined range of tasks. The central part of the Falken Ziex ZE-322 tread is occupied by three longitudinal ribs. The middle rib is double and has no breaks throughout the tread. This made it possible to make it maximally rigid, which allowed the tire to have excellent directional stability and handling agility across the entire speed range.

Each of the other two ribs consists of two rows of separate blocks of a quadrangular shape, located at a minimum distance from each other. These tread elements also provide the tire with resistance to lateral skidding, but at the same time, the numerous edges formed by them made it possible to achieve high efficiency of acceleration and braking.

The shoulder zones also have an original structure. Each of them is an additional row of blocks of triangular and rectangular shapes. Due to their massive size, the developers were able to make this part of the tread sufficiently rigid, which improved the grip when cornering. At the same time, the numerous edges formed by them made it possible to reduce the braking distance, especially on a wet surface.
