Description Falken Ziex CT50 A/S
The Falken Ziex CT50 A/S summer tire is installed on full-size SUV class vehicles. It is included in the primary equipment of the Mazda CX-9 for the North American market, where it is positioned as an all-season model. Its characteristic feature is improved efficiency in difficult road conditions, resistance to aquaplaning, comfortable handling, and a low level of noise in the vehicle cabin.
Optimized tread design
In the development of the external appearance of the tread, much attention was paid to ensuring comfort, both in terms of handling and in terms of noise level in the cabin. It is for this reason that an S-shaped non-directional arrangement of elements was chosen. As a result, the tread has a larger area in contact with the road surface than other types of tread patterns. It practically does not change under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces, which makes it possible to achieve not only good traction properties but also their high stability in any driving mode. Additionally, the arrangement of tread elements with an offset relative to each other prevents the formation of resonant noises and vibrations.
Improved traction on wet surfaces
The tread contains a large number of edges. They are formed not only by blocks. The sinusoidal lamellas in them allow the tire to grip the slippery road with a large number of sharp edges.
Key features of Falken Ziex CT50 A/S
- an S-shaped tread pattern provides reliability and predictability in difficult situations, a high level of acoustic comfort;
- a large number of sinusoidal lamellas enhances traction on slippery surfaces;
- four longitudinal grooves prevent aquaplaning;
- wide shoulder blocks improve stability and handling when cornering.
