The Effiplus Himmer II summer tire is one of the innovations of the Chinese tire brand, which is focused exclusively on foreign markets, including our country. Another feature of this model is the target audience. It includes owners of powerful high-speed passenger cars of various classes. This is hinted at by two facts - the size range for wheels with a landing diameter from 16 to 20 inches and the speed index W assigned to all tire sizes without exception.

Asymmetric tread pattern

Like most similar tire products from leading global brands, the Effiplus Himmer II features a tread pattern with an asymmetric arrangement of elements. Mainly for this reason, this model has excellent traction characteristics, both on dry and wet roads.

As for the specific features of the Effiplus Himmer II tread pattern, the first thing to note is the clear division into two separate zones, each designed to perform certain functions, which is reflected in their design differences. In particular, the inner part of the tread contains three longitudinal ribs, the massive size of which is combined with the absence of any breaks throughout its length. Thanks to this, both tread elements have very high resistance to dynamic deformation that occurs during movement. As a result, the tire demonstrates not only exceptional directional stability but also almost instantaneous responses to any, even slight, steering movement.

The functional purpose of the outer side of the tread pattern is to ensure stability when cornering, as well as maximum traction in the longitudinal direction. To do this, the two longitudinal ribs were divided into separate blocks, the edges of which are predominantly located transversely relative to the direction of movement.

Excellent resistance to aquaplaning

Resistance to aquaplaning is undoubtedly one of the strongest sides of this model. These capabilities have appeared due to a very effective drainage system, which consists of several longitudinal grooves and numerous transverse channels. The latter, in turn, have a curved shape, which contributes to an increase in the speed of removal of excess moisture from the contact patch.

Main features of the Effiplus Himmer II tire

- an affordable high-performance tire with an asymmetric tread pattern ideal for track days;
- a large contact patch area due to the flat tread profile;
- wide longitudinal ribs on the inner side of the tread provide excellent directional stability in combination with sports handling;
- exceptional performance of the drainage system allows you to move confidently on wet roads at any speed;
- a short braking distance due to the block structure of the shoulder areas.
