As for the specific features of the Effiplus Himmer II tread pattern, the first thing to note is the clear division into two separate zones, each designed to perform certain functions, which is reflected in their design differences. In particular, the inner part of the tread contains three longitudinal ribs, the massive size of which is combined with the absence of any breaks throughout its length. Thanks to this, both tread elements have very high resistance to dynamic deformation that occurs during movement. As a result, the tire demonstrates not only exceptional directional stability but also almost instantaneous responses to any, even slight, steering movement.

The functional purpose of the outer side of the tread pattern is to ensure stability when cornering, as well as maximum traction in the longitudinal direction. To do this, the two longitudinal ribs were divided into separate blocks, the edges of which are predominantly located transversely relative to the direction of movement.

Resistance to aquaplaning is undoubtedly one of the strongest sides of this model. These capabilities have appeared due to a very effective drainage system, which consists of several longitudinal grooves and numerous transverse channels. The latter, in turn, have a curved shape, which contributes to an increase in the speed of removal of excess moisture from the contact patch.
