Dunlop SP LT 5

4-rib tread pattern

The symmetrical non-directional design of this tire's tread gives it a significant part of the above-mentioned features. It consists of four very wide longitudinal ribs. The rigid, continuous construction and arrangement of each of them provides the tire with several important advantages. First and foremost, this is safety and stable behavior at high speeds, as well as ease of handling, provided by fast and accurate reactions to steering wheel turns. Additionally, it is impossible not to note the low rolling resistance, resistance to uneven wear.

Good traction properties

In the absence of individual blocks, this tire demonstrates quite decent traction properties. They are ensured by the wavy shape of the tread ribs. Their edges are arranged at different angles, which is why the tire's contact patch has numerous differently directed edges of adhesion.
