The summer passenger tire Dunlop Grandtrek ST30 from the world-famous British manufacturer was specifically designed for all-wheel drive passenger cars that operate mainly on roads with a hard surface. This model, released in one size, 225/60R18, is part of the primary equipment of the Honda CR-V crossover, which speaks to the excellent technical and operational characteristics of this tire.
This model is one of the few tires designed for high-clearance vehicles, equipped with an asymmetric directional tread pattern. This design of the tread elements has given the tire a number of advantages that effectively manifest themselves in any conditions.
On the outer side of the tire tread Dunlop GrandTrek ST30, there is a wide longitudinal rib, the rigid structure of which, during straight-line movement, provides excellent directional stability and high efficiency of acceleration and braking. Additionally, the high structural rigidity of this tread element made it possible to significantly reduce the reaction time to steering wheel turns, which introduced sports features into the handling character.
The shoulder areas of the tread also have high structural rigidity, which, in combination with rigid sidewalls, has significantly improved traction when cornering. Also, in order to combat deformations that lead to uneven wear, the shoulder areas have a rounded profile.
All tread elements are equipped with lamellas of various shapes and sizes, which allow for more even contact of the tread with the road surface, as well as contribute to more efficient heat dissipation from the tire tread.
