DescriptionDescription Dunlop GrandTrek ST20
The Dunlop GrandTrek ST20 tire is the result of the joint work of Japanese and German manufacturers of automotive tires. It is a unique all-season tire for SUVs. The tire will allow you to always feel comfortable on any road and in any weather. When developing this tire, the company's specialists tried to implement the best qualities of summer and winter tires. This was achieved through the use of the latest equipment and the latest achievements in the tire industry during production. The main emphasis was placed on passability and safety.
Increased passability is provided due to the optimally selected tread blocks as a result of using the method of computer modeling when creating the tread. The combination of optimally selected blocks and increased tread depth improves the self-cleaning of the tire, which increases passability and handling. The reinforced shoulder area not only prevents damage but also provides confident handling when cornering. It was possible to increase reliability and safety due to a specially designed carcass, which was made from a nylon cord of increased strength.
In summer and winter, the Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 tire provides precise steering response and comfort, which is important for SUVs. The tire also has excellent resistance, wonderful braking and load-carrying characteristics on any road surface. When driving off-road, this tire has proven itself perfectly and confidently copes with any difficulties. The specialists were able to achieve a quiet ride due to changes in the geometry of the blocks. The varying width of the elements made it possible to achieve excellent acoustic comfort. At the same time, this block structure is perfectly suitable for driving in various weather conditions. Regardless of humidity and season, the universal Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 tire provides complete safety for both the driver and passengers, excellent braking, and wonderful feedback.
The main features of the Dunlop GrandTrek ST20 tire
- the tread pattern has a "two-in-one" design with five ribs for even distribution of load in the contact patch, which made it possible to reduce the noise level and increase the service life;
- the high tread with the addition of silica provides excellent traction and high wear resistance;
- long lateral grooves provide excellent resistance to aquaplaning and increase the self-cleaning of the tire.

I don't know what others don't like, but with an aggressive driving style, it behaves very well. On the highway, I drive up to 180 - without problems. There's no noise at all.
I drove on them last winter (although quite carefully). Of course, on snow, when braking, it behaves like a worn-out tire, but it drives normally through snowdrifts (and last winter was very snowy in Moscow). Moreover, it doesn't change its quality

It's a runflat on the T31 2.5l. Mileage with a winter replacement taken into account. The tire is useless for winter, starting from 0 degrees it dubs and completely loses its properties, whoever called it an all-season tire has just been joking. It slides on the ice regardless of whether you press the brake or not. It's sufficiently noisy in the summer, and it passes the joints too stiffly, although it's probably the result of insufficient profile height

I had this tire on my Nissan X-Trail 2007 made in Japan, for the first 2 years, I drove it both in winter and summer. It did pretty well for a general purpose tire, especially in the city. It didn't slip on the snow or ice at -30 degrees. It's a good all-season tire but it loses to any specialty winter, snow, or all-season tire. I bought a specialized snow tire from this brand this year and it's really only
