Description Dunlop GrandTrek PT 9000
Dunlop GrandTrek PT9000 – a summer tire that represents a high-performance road tire, oriented towards use on modern crossovers and SUVs primarily on asphalt. It is characterized by excellent stability at high speeds, high precision handling in turns, reliable traction on wet pavement, and increased comfort during movement.
The tire's tread is made with a directional pattern and a modernized geometry of the side blocks, which provides stable behavior of the vehicle both during straight-line movement and during maneuvers. The rubber compound with the addition of silicon dioxide, better known as "silica", guarantees good traction with the road in any summer weather conditions, including heavy rain. The directional drainage grooves effectively drain water from the contact patch, significantly reducing the risk of aquaplaning. The special shape of the shoulder blocks and the reinforced design of the sidewalls, including the use of spiral nylon cord technology, improve the vehicle's stability at high speed and contribute to even tread wear. The PSP b reinforced carcass technology, one of Dunlop's "trademark" developments, gives the construction increased rigidity, while maintaining comfort and handling at a high level. The list of additional advantages of the model also includes a reduced noise level due to the optimized block sequence in the tread and a specially designed tread pattern.
The main features of Dunlop GrandTrek PT 9000:
- the rubber compound containing a large amount of "silica" provides reliable traction with dry and wet roads, reduces rolling resistance, and promotes more even wear;
- reinforced sidewalls and a directional tread pattern improve directional stability, especially at high speeds, and provide precise feedback when maneuvering;
- PSP b technology and spiral nylon cord reinforce the tire's carcass, increasing its durability and stability under intense loads.
