Description Dunlop Direzza DZ101
The summer passenger tire Dunlop Direzza DZ101 is primarily addressed to car owners who prefer an aggressive sports driving style. This is unequivocally hinted at by the tire's aggressive exterior design. During its development, a number of proprietary technologies were applied, which made it possible to achieve an ideal balance between the main operational characteristics.
The Dunlop Direzza DZ101 model is one of the first to feature the Digital Rolling Simulation II technology. I.e. the tire was created using computer simulation methods, which allowed for virtual testing in a variety of conditions. Thanks to this, the company's specialists were able to find the optimal balance between handling, fuel efficiency, and comfort, without the need for millions of kilometers of testing. As a result, a tire was created that can suit the absolute majority of drivers.
Main features of the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tire
- The optimized V-shaped tread design provides excellent traction in any road conditions and sports handling;
- Massive tread blocks in the shoulder areas improve acceleration efficiency, increase directional stability, and provide maximum traction when cornering;
- Two drainage grooves in the center of the tread quickly and efficiently drain water from the contact patch, improving handling on wet roads;
- Special combined tread blocks provide exceptionally high braking efficiency, significantly reducing the braking distance on roads with different characteristics;
- The 5-Pitch Technology reduces noise by using tread blocks of five different sizes, producing sound waves of different frequencies that cancel each other out;
- The solid, jointless carcass features increased resistance to deformations, punctures, and cuts, and also reduces the vibration load on the tire during movement;
- The protective "bumper" prevents damage to the wheel rims from aggressive external influences, such as curb impact;
- The Silicarbon Matrix rubber compound features increased silica and carbon content, which improved traction on wet roads and increased the tread's resistance to wear.
