Dunlop Direzza 02G

The summer tire Dunlop Direzza 02G is designed for the most dynamic versions of passenger cars. Structurally, it is a racing tire adapted for use on public roads. It is characterized by uncompromising sports handling with lightning-fast responses to steering wheel turns, reliable coupling properties on wet surfaces.

The tread pattern is a racing "slick" with drainage grooves. Their large volume reduces the risk of a continuous water film forming in the contact patch even in heavy rain. In the manufacture of the tire, a special rubber compound is used with accelerated heating to operating temperature of increased elasticity, which allows maintaining grip on cooled wet surfaces. There are no fewer "borrowings" from sports tires in the carcass design. The sidewalls contain special sealing strips that increase the force of the tire's fixation on the rim of the wheel disc. The breaker, in turn, contains an additional nylon cord that limits the mobility of the elements of the tread part of the tread.
