Doublestar DS01

These elements provide a contact patch with a large number of sharp edges, which, penetrating the water film, allow the tire to effectively grip the wet surface. At the same time, their original shape limits the mobility of the blocks, which ensures faster and more accurate transmission of multidirectional acceleration forces to the steering wheel, making the vehicle handling process easier.

Wide shoulder blocks

One of the main advantages of the tire is its traction when maneuvering and cornering. To a large extent, these properties are ensured by the design of the shoulder blocks. The elements have massive dimensions and are arranged transversely to the direction of movement. It is on them that the tire relies when lateral acceleration forces are applied. The extremely low mobility of these elements prevents skidding. In addition, the transverse surfaces formed by the shoulder blocks significantly increase the efficiency of the tread when accelerating longitudinally, especially on wet surfaces.

Low risk of aquaplaning

The tread remains resistant to aquaplaning even at high speeds. This is due to the significant internal volume of the four longitudinal grooves and the presence of numerous transverse channels that additionally accelerate the removal of water from the contact patch beyond the tread.
